It's A Hard Life > Abraham, Martin & John - Emmylou Harris
Nancy Griffith wrote "It's A Hard Life" in 1989 (video also includes Stephen Foster's "Hard Times).
Saddened by the assassinations of the 60s, Dion wrote "Abraham, Martin, and John" as a lament for the better angels of our nature.
