The McGarrigles never really grabbed me, though I have liked a couple of their songs done by others, particularly "Heart Like A Wheel." And Emmylou did "Goin' Back To Harlan."
Except for one album, they've never registered with me, either. But go to iTunes or Amazon and preview "The McGarrigle Hour." It's an assemblage of McGarrigle family and friends, and works nicely.
