This is great! A whole blog all about Emmylou. And a great country classic to start it out with.
I knew I could depend on you, Roy!
The clarity of her voice reminds me of a lake where the water is as still and clear as glass. And those cheekbones!
What a fun blog idea.
What a wonderful analogy. And those cheekbones!
you guys....
I'm gonna start a 365 days of Kris Kristofferson...THOSE cheekbones!
Go for it! The man is only 70!
Bite me....
And those eyebrows. And that gorgeous hair...then AND now! She's great and this is a wonderful blog idea.
(I must consider my 365 Days of Robert Redford blog now...)
Hi, Lydia! Thanks for stopping by. Re Bob, I can't say as I blame you!
This blog has been gestating since I first heard heard Grievous Angel, sold as "Gram Parsons with Emmylou Harris" back in 1974.
Got that album!
But, truthfully, I prefer ELH's mature voice now over her youthful tone.
Two sides of perfection to my ears!
K, if that was a link to Bob it doesn't work...
This blog is going to be such a treat. Thanks again to you guys for doing this.
Not sure what happened with the link, but here's the URL:
