Softly and Tenderly
"Softly and Tenderly" appears on Songbird: Rare Tracks & Forgotten Gems (2007). Cynthia Clawson's rendition inspired Harris to record the gospel classic with Dolly Parton and Linda Rondstadt.
Ah! Nice! I've heard The Trio do this before, and I also heard Emmylou sing it on A Prairie Home Companion with The Hopeful Gospel Quartet (Garrison Keillor, Robin & Linda Williams, and Kate MacKenzie).
